At the start of September, HVSM had the pleasure of attending the High Voltage & Arc Flash Conference in London, hosted by IDC Technologies. The event brought together leading experts, industry professionals, and organisations from across the high voltage sector to share insights, discuss technological advancements, and explore best practices in safety and operational excellence.

HVSM was proud to participate as a Platinum Sponsor, reflecting our commitment to supporting industry development, promoting safety, and sharing our expertise with peers. Sponsorship provided us with the opportunity to engage directly with key stakeholders, network with industry leaders, and showcase HVSM’s capabilities and innovation in high voltage engineering.

A standout moment of the conference was a presentation delivered by our Commissioning Manager, Ian O’Sullivan, who highlighted HVSM’s approach to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient solutions in complex high voltage environments. His presentation was very well received, demonstrating our commitment to technical excellence and industry leadership.

In addition to Ian’s session, our team attended a range of workshops and panel discussions covering topics such as arc flash mitigation, high voltage testing technologies, and safety best practices. These sessions provided valuable insights that HVSM can incorporate into our ongoing projects, training, and safety initiatives.
